Helen Yackel  found a new outlet to sell her jewelry. In November 2019, Helen began renting a showcase at the Antique Connection located at 12815 Central Avenue in Albuquerque.  Prior to this she loved selling pieces at summer markets such as the Placitas Market https://www.facebook.com/Placitas-2nd-4th-Saturday-Market-1765247883791211.  However, since the Pandemic eliminated those options last year, it has been a great option to continue to show and sell pieces to customers.   Having a showcase also provides some interactivity with customers as each showcase/booth dealer in the Mall works 8 hours a month.  Helen enjoys helping the customers, working with the other dealers, and definitely learning more about collectibles from beautiful vintage jewelry to all types of antiques.

Keeping the showcase stocked has allowed Helen to try new designs and recreate those she loves.  This along with helping her granddaughter attend second grade online classes and having her other two grandchildren (ages 4 & 2) visit one or two days a week has definitely kept her busy in an incredibly good way!
