Remembering John Kenny Halstead
And let it begin with me
With God as our Creator
We are family
Let us walk with each other
In perfect harmony
Let peace begin with me
Let this be the moment now
With every step I take
Let this be my solemn vow
To take each moment
And live each moment
In peace eternally
And let it begin with me
Member projects during self quarantine... wow!

Teresa Kenyon, Bead Society Webmaster, has been enjoying her new job with Facebook these past 2 months. Lots to learn and trying to balance that with finding time to be creative outside work. This is a pendant she is working on. Her favorite beading is 'just to start and see where the beads take her'.
Fran Hahn's lamp work beads, wire, black spacers (purchased) with sterling components.
Pam Troutman worked on a 6 by 6 inch square for a display in the Museum of Beadwork in Portland, Maine. She has also finished a few pieces from her Bead Cruise this past February, modifying the designs to make them unique. The Cacti Dragonfly is a variation of Sherry Serafini’s NOVA pendant using beads and materials in Pam’s stash. The burgundy necklace is from the class Montasery Windows by Kinga Nichols, but instead of making a bracelet with 5 matching components, she made a pair of earrings and this pendant.
Jerry Steed has been been busy beading and working for Desert Rose. Desert Rose will close the end of June and reopen in September 2020. Jerry you did a beautiful job on her magnificent Melanie Potter bracelet along with the mask and other beautiful earrings.
