Instructor:  Sue Kapp

Biography:  I have been crafting from a very early age, crochet, knitting, tatting, macrame, cross stitch & crewel embroidery.  I put myself through college working as a photographer in the Catskill Mountains of New York. Several years after my children were born, I began scrapbooking. This led to card making with all the scraps. I fell in love with the immediate gratification of small projects and started to expand my cardmaking knowledge.  Which led to exploring mixed media, art journaling, book arts and paint pouring. Now a paper bead creator. I am at my happiest when I'm creating no matter what the medium is.

Class Description:

Students will make beads by rolling paper on various tools including cotter pins, tension pins, skewers, and paper roller tools.  Finishing techniques will be taught using various paints, patinas, glitter, glue and other materials. Each student will go home with beads and materials to do this at home.
