Registration is closed

Class Description:

Made with polymer clay, these beads look like rolled paper beads. This is a great way to use up scraps of clay. Scraps from this project can also be used for hand-formed focal pieces.  Students will be able to make enough beads for one necklace and earring set, and if you are super-fast, two or more sets.

Baking takes 20 minutes per batch and cannot be done during class time. Jewelry making is on your own time.

Students need to bring their own supplies:

1.     Pasta machine (find in second-hand shop or at craft stores).
2.     Polymer clay in assorted colors
3.     Piece of 12x12 inch SMOOTH tile for cutting
4.     Tissue blade and 12-inch metal straight edge or ruler with metal edge
5.
Toothpicks and a block of floral foam to stick finished beads in for transportation home

  • Note: Students will need a toaster oven to bake their beads at home after class.

Important: Minimum class size is 5 students, otherwise will reschedule.
