Only 12 people in the class so don't miss out on getting a seat.  Register today!

The cost includes a tool kit with tote bag, needle nosed pliers, crimper, wire cutters, bead board, plastic box for beads, bead stops, Softflex wire (10' spool), crimping tubes, clasp and string of beads.  Kit is a $50 value.

 10:30-11:30:

We discuss the history of beading and show a short video that is critically acclaimed, about beading from the beginning of time.   Beads were the first currency.  Countries have been bought and sold with beads.   It is a fascinating video with beautiful scenes of cultures and their beads.  Next we go through everything that is in the kit ($50.00 value) and have them take out their beads and place them on their bead board.

11:30-12:30

We discuss the Elements of design.  What makes a good design.  How do you choose what goes with what.   We have lots of samples to show and all three instructors show their work.   Then we go into color theory.   We give everyone a color wheel and explain how to use it.   If you have never used a color wheel you will love learning all about them.

While we pick up lunch for those who ordered it, everyone goes out into the store and looks for things they might want to put with their beads provided in the kit.  This is not mandatory but simple an exercise in what you learned in color theory and design.

1:00-4:00

While we eat lunch, we begin to lay out our beads into a design.   Everyone gets hands on help with three instructors in the room.   We give tips based on our own experiences.

There is a 13 page handout of all the information.   We help each person with crimping and with adding a clasp.   The class ends when the last person finishes their necklace.  Usual timing is between 2pm and 4pm.   Everyone wears their necklace home.

Refunds will be issued up to 24 hours in advance.  After 24 hours  you can reschedule the class but no refund will be issued.

Special Note... you are not officially registered if you have not completed the registration and paid for the class.
